Mountain Landlocked Developing Countries. A negotiating group formally established in 2010 by the governments of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikstan, focusing on issues faced by landlocked mountain developing countries particularly vulnerable to transportation costs and food insecurity. Afghanistan and 15 other countries are also members of the group (LLDCs). It aims at expanding the group to include other interested countries.
